Original & Working

We just got these as part of a bundle of equipment. According to their original owner, they had not been used for very many years.

We gently woke them up with our variac and were pleasantly surprised to hear that they appear to work just fine, producing good, strong & balanced audio output.

For obvious reasons, we only ran them for just about 60 seconds. It will certainly be necessary to replace some critical components (capacitors & resistors) before any further prolonged use. The required parts will be cheap and easy to source but please DO NOT purchase these unless you have the necessary knowledge and expertise to be able to carry out this work.

We would usually offer these on eBay but lately eBay seem to have become like the Wild West. So - here is a perfectly viable restoration project. The internal components look to be mostly original and unmolested. The output valves are the original GEC KT66 and the rectifiers are the original white logo Mullard GZ32

The pictures show no cables are included. However, we will be happy to include a couple of Bulgin mains plugs if required.
