You already know just how good these are so we won’t be boring you with any long-winded essay.

Containing original Tannoy 10 inch Monitor Gold Dual Concentric drivers with the more desirable fibre surrounds, these wonderful loudspeakers are in full & glorious working order - completely original and unmolested from new.

The backs were removed for the photographs today - the first time since manufacture. The complete lack of any scratch marks on the bakelite chassis sockets show that these have never been un-plugged since the day they were born (see pictures 12 & 13). You can see that the serial numbers on the Monitor Gold chassis match the serial numbers written on the paper labels on the rear of the cabinets.

Dating from the early 70’s, physical condition is very good and solid, with a few little blemishes and watermarks in line with their age (see close-up pictures). The most important thing is that both grille cloths are original and in perfect condition, with no rips or tears. This genuine Tannoy cloth is impossible to replace. The original Tannoy logo badges are also present
