Arcam Alpha - Amplifier

From the early 1980’s, this was the very first Arcam product (Arcam were previously known as A&R Cambridge). This original Alpha amplifier took the Hi-Fi world by storm and established the world-wide reputation of the now famous Arcam brand.

Around 20 to 30 watts per channel and with a high quality built-in M/M phono stage, this lovely little integrated amplifier is in full working order and nice physical condition (see close-up pictures).

Currently operating on 220 - 240 volts mains, conversion to 100 - 120 volts just requires moving the position of a couple of wires in the power supply (see last picture).
