Not to be confused with Gale speakers products made after Richer Sounds bought the name, here is a quite rare pair of Gale 302's in full working order. The 8 inch bass driver, in conjunction with an 8 inch passive radiator provide a serious and effortless depth of bass. This design feature, along with quality Gale treble drivers, make these ideally suited to all types of pop or rock music, especially reggae.
The 3 series was a very successful attempt by Gale to supply the Gale sound at a lower price than the expensive 4 series. These speakers sound dynamic and punchy and can be driven by either solid state or valve amps.
Physical condition is less than perfect (see close-up pictures). This little blemishes and scratches on the real black ash veneer are reflected in the price.
