Previously in use with its matching 44 pre-amp and FM4 tuner, here is an excellent example of this classic, iconic British power amplifier. Tested for around 2 hours, this 405-2 is in full working order and very good physical condition.

100 watts RMS per channel of pure, current dumping audio joy. This one was originally a 405 but was upgraded to full 405-2 specification by Quad in 1984.

This comes in its original packing carton - with mains cable, 4-pin DIN signal cable and the optional voltage limiters shown in picture 18. We do have a copy of the original user manual as a PDF on our computer, which we will be happy to email to the new owner on request.
