Quad Stereo Valve System

1 x 22 Controller & 2 x II Power Amps

This system has been left un-used for a very long time. Here’s what we did to check it out:

We connected it up with a CD player as input source and gently woke it up with our variac. It works and sounds really nice. Good, powerful and clear stereo output. We ran it for about 10 minutes and then switched-off. This is all the testing we did.

The 4 x KT66 valves are original GEC. All the other valves in the power-amps and pre-amp are Mullard

Please note:- This system has not been used for very many years. Although working when briefly tested it is pretty certain that some components (capacitors and resistors) will need to be renewed before any further prolonged use. Servicing and restoration should be carried out by a competent person.

These come with all necessary cables, along with original pick-up and tape adaptor pods. It also come with user manual, circuit diagrams, mounting templates and correct 2-Pin Bulgin mains cable
