Not to be confused with the inferior and budget Series 3S model, this high specification tone-arm is in full working order and excellent condition. Full signal continuity from head-shell tags to RCA plugs, bearings and geometry are all spot-on and the dash-pot (arm lift/lower mechanism) operates smooth and slow.

The series 3 features a fluid damping trough (FD200) fitted as standard. The use of this damping trough is entirely at the discretion of the owner. The advantages of its use are explained in picture 13. For obvious reasons we have removed the fluid for shipping. If you wish to use the fluid damper then you will just need to obtain the correct fluid. This is easily and cheaply available via eBay (click here). If you don’t want to use this fluid damper simply leave the trough empty - which will have no effect at all on the operation of the arm.

This comes complete with original user manual, 4 x bed-plate fixing screws, original SME signal cable and original adjustment spanner. This also comes with exact size copies of the mounting template and alignment protractor.
