This original Transcriptor (pre Michell) Saturn is in very nice condition (see close-up pictures) and full working order. Fitted with Transcriptor Fluid tonearm and Linn K5 MM cartridge.
The main bearing is spot-on and freshly lubricated, the motor is smooth and silent, the drive belt is fine and 33 / 45 speed change mechanism operates as it should. The good quality Linn K5 MM cartridge is fitted with a perfect stylus tip (see picture 8). The acrylic cover is good shape, the lid hinges are fine and the lid support is present.
All in all - here is a very nice example of an all-time British classic which is fully working and ready to use when connected to your amplifier’s MM phono input.
This comes with a print-out copy of the original user manual (for the deck and tonearm) from the excellent vinylengine.com website.
