In very nice physical condition, here is a lovely pair of Wharfedale Linton 2 Loudspeakers, sounding sweet as a nut on all types of music.
When listening with your eyes instead of your ears, it’s easy to overlook vintage British speakers like the 1970s Wharfedale range. These reinforce the feeling that many modern designs are simply overpriced Emperor’s New Clothes.
The last picture is from the 1974 Hi-Fi Year Book, when these retailed at almost £50, a hefty price-ticket at the time.
